Alongside printmaking, I enjoy developing sketchbook drawings into larger paintings using pen and ink and watercolour. In winter I often use quite a limited palette and focus on pen and ink bringing out patterns in the landscape and woodland. Other seasons bring their own colours and I am very fond of capturing the detail of the summer hedgerows and wildflowers and the lightness of the trees in autumn.
